Julian Darius Reading the Conclusion to "The Miller's Tale"
An audio file of my entertaining reading, accompanied by Jan LaPerle as the female voice, of the conclusion of Geoffrey Chaucer's "The Miller's Tale" (from his Canterbury Tales) in Middle English. The reading is framed on either side by my impromptu parody of the Masterpiece Theatre school of introduction which, for all its comedic pretentiousness, nonetheless identifies the reading and includes the appropriate line numbers. Be warned, however, that this file is five minutes long and over six megabytes in size. (This work by Julian Darius was first made available at persiancaesar.com on 20 February 2002.)
A Chronology of Laurence Sterne's The Life and Opinions of Tristram Shandy, Gentleman [INCOMPLETE]
A chronology to the events of Sterne's (in)famous and fairly anti-chronological novel.
